While you have the light, believe in the light, (John 12:36 ESV)
As Christians we have moments that are mountain top moments. These moments are when we feel close to God much like the disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration. They wanted to stay in that moment with Jesus in His glory. but, Jesus sent them out off the mountain and back in the world.
We are not meant to stay on the mountain tops. We are meant to take those moments with us back into the valleys. Those moments help us get from mountain top to mountain top and sustain is in between. They are also meant to give us a light to show to others while we are in the valleys to lead them out with us. Let’s bask in the mountain top moments but not be content to stay there. Let’s take the light that we have been given and let it shine for all to see.
