Our days on this earth are numbered. The only way we escape death is if Jesus returns and takes us home before we die. One of the most damaging lies Satan can tell us is, “You have plenty of time.” God’s word tells us that no man is promised tomorrow, and God’s word is true.
Our days on this earth are God’s currency that He gave to us to spend in the interest of His kingdom. They are not meant to be wasted away or held in such high regard that we hang on to them with a white-knuckle grip, scared to lose them. Let’s go out and be a servant to God and not a slave to time! Let us be a people that recognizes the worth of the currency of our lives and spend it wisely.
