When you go to war, your people will serve you willingly. You are arrayed in holy garments, and your strength will be renewed each day like the morning dew. (Psalms 110:3)
If you believe that Christianity is all sunshine and rainbows, you have been misled. We are in the midst of a spiritual battle between heaven and hell and we must fight it daily. Have you ever noticed that as soon as you claim a victory, you have some sort of opposition soon after? It happens quite a bit and we need to recognize it for what it is. It is not coincidence. It is the enemy mounting a counter-attack on us.
We must be prepared for the day of battle and willing to fight. The verse above states that God is going to war and His people will willingly serve Him. The question is, are you ready to fight? I love Psalm 108:13 which says, “Through God we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall tread down our enemies.” We have enemies all around us whether we recognize them or not. The moment we gave our life to Christ, we threw down the gauntlet and challenged Satan. So, let’s be ready and willing to stand and serve God each day. Let’s put on the whole armor of God, stand in the gap, put up our dukes and swing away!
Love Y’all! Be Blessed!
