Episode #45: Urgent Awareness

Let this be our prayer today, to realize our days on this earth are fleeting. We are not invincible and our time here is limited. For the believer, this is good news. We will only be here a short while and then we will be with our Lord in all His glory. But, while we rejoice in this promise, we must also realize what it means for those who do not believe. Since we know that our time is but a mere breath, we also know that is true for everyone. This should give us a sense of urgency each and every day to reach the lost.
How dare we receive the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and keep it to ourselves. How dare we leave those behind that are still trapped in a world of darkness when we know the way out? How dare we stand on the sidelines while the enemy imprisons those around us? The gift of the gospel was never meant to be held in but was meant to be spread. Get in the fight today! Share the gospel. Be the light we are called to be. Invite people to church and share your story! Don’t believe the lie from Satan that we have more time. We have overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony!
Let us be a people of urgency for the purpose and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
